Shaboom was rescued from the third owner's back yard on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1999 after years on the hard. He thought he'd have the time to put her in order but between building his law practice and family, he decided to simply buy a "ready to go" boat. In between buying her and selling her to me, he managed to find the time to remove all the systems, leaving me an empty palette, so to speak. In 2005, after four years of doing what we do, Shaboom was splashed. As a result of rebuilding and restoring, the boat is practically new (note the year added for most of the gear). My intention was to move aboard - which I did for almost four years - and eventually sail off when I retired, but my Significant Other had bigger ideas. We stumbled on a 40' Baba that we couldn't resist, and it's with no small amount of regret that I can't have both boats. Until she sells, I'll be trying to figure out a way to do just that.

Contact me first, I'll hook you up with the agent and let them know to honor this listing's price (free Ginsu knives not included!). I can also send more photos.
