Accommodations and Layout:

Forward cabin with Pullman double berth, storage lockers, seat to starboard and large custom deck hatch ('04). Under berth are 4 drawers and sail locker. Aft of stateroom is a head to port with sink, marine toilet, pressure and hand pump water, shower, medicine cabinet with mirror, and lockers to port. Opposite to starboard is a large hanging locker and 4-drawers. Door separating head from main cabin has built in stained glass window.

The main cabin is furnished with a single settee and pilot berth to starboard containing 5 lockers. On the main bulkhead wall is a Chesapeake diesel stove with blower and thermostat. To port is a dinette that converts to a double berth and storage shelves and lockers outboard. Aft of the dinette is a U-shaped galley. Immediately across from the galley is a hanging locker separating the starboard settee from a sit-down aft facing navigation station. Hanging and wall mounted brass oil lamps are in the main cabin.

Access to the engine room is gained by removing the stairway, 2-40 gal fuel tanks are up and outboard of the engine.

Cockpit has a custom made pilothouse. The cockpit is completely protected by fiberglass dodger and bimini. During '04 complete enclosure was added to the pilothouse. During 2001-2004 a complete refit of Restless was completed to include new bowsprit, boomkin, deck, rigging, cheek boards to rudder, and hull and deck painting. All hatches were rebuilt and new instruments were installed.

Restless is wheel steered by a double ram hydrolytic Wagner system. Edson pedestal with custom bronze and teak wheel. Vessel has Atoms Self Steering wind vane system.

Galley:

U-shaped galley, facing in with a refrigerator/freezer on the right, 2-burner propane stove with oven forward, and to the left is a deep sink and work area ('04). Outboard and aft are 7-storage shelves and locker and Sharp microwave. Refrigeration is Adler/Barbour Cold Machine.

Engine:

Vessel was re-powered in 1991 with a 44 hpVolvo Penta, model 2003T coupled to the shaft by a Federal flexible coupling. New prop shaft, stern tube, and propeller installed '04. Fuel tanks were cleaned and fuel polished '04.
