In 2013 and 2014, Oceana was retrofitted with a new LeFiell tabernacle mast and boom, new winches for halyards, all new standing rigging including chain plates, boomkin whisker stays, all turnbuckles, and a new bobstay. Almost all of the new parts were ordered from Bud Taplin of the Westsail Parts Co., hence meet or exceed the original specifications of Westsail. Sails were fabricated by Kern Sails, Kern Ferguson. This work was done in November 2013 and continued into 2014.
