Comments:

It's Time…… since 2001, she has been an important part of our lives and daughter's growing up. Brought us to some fantastic spots and provided a homey platform on the way. Now kid's in University and wife wants a tire camper (that can tow a motorcycle trailer). So Be It, no regrets.

Accommodations:

This is a Factory Finished Offshore version with a fixed center table and dish cabinets above galley ice box. Originally there was a bulky cabinet forward/starboard in V berth, but it was removed to provide a much larger bunk, still tons of storage. When the table's leafs are down, it makes for a safe and secure sea berth on port side. There is a pilot berth on upper starboard side with lee cloth, great hide out for kids or gear. Fully functioning head, holding tank, and sink. Dickenson Newport diesel heater with fan. Common chart table with drawers below. Hanging locker forward of that.

Deck & Hull:

Replacement SS 'Bud' bowsprit and long pulpit rails, new lifelines forward, thick aluminum plate under mast step which, via insulating puck, ties into compression post into keel below. This fixes the notorious sagging coach roof dilemma and stiffens rig. The original propane tank 'treasure chest'on deck, removed to provide space for new Lewmar opening skylight for venting and more light below. Canvas dodger with handles. Nonskid decks, not teak. New aluminum propane tanks mounted on gallows rails, one for galley, one for outside BBQ, interchangeable. Teak boomkin with stern anchor mounted atop. New beefy backstay mount eye. New extra long folding SS boarding ladder.

Galley:
  • Double SS sink.
  • Propane 2 burner stove with oven, shutoff solenoid switch in handy place.
  • Ice box with Isotherm plate, compressor in engine room, no work, needs charge me thinks.
Engine:
  • Perkins 4-108 runs fine. 2089 hours.
  • Rancor fuel filters.
  • Hurth gear.
  • PYI dripless shaft seal.
Plumbing:
  • All manual.
  • Updated 'Bud' polyethylene water tanks.
Electrical:
  • Original panel, much wiring replaced.
  • 110V system redone to satisfy insurance guy.
  • 2 cranking, 2 house batteries, 1 backup for…incase.
  • New updated charger system.
  • Spare alternator.
  • Lightning bonding in place but disconnected for my likes.
Electronics:
  • Furuno 16 mile radar.
  • Garmin depth sounder.
  • Simrad wind instruments.
  • Simrad tiller pilot with remote.
  • Back up Autohelm autopilot.
  • Horizon VHF radio.
  • Knotmeter.
Mast and Rigging:
  • Cutter rigged.
  • Self tacking staysail boom.
  • Standing and running rigging removed and serviced several years ago.
Sails:
  • New and 'crisp' Lee Sails ; battened main with 3 reefs, staysail with reef, standard jib.
  • Also a fresh large jib which was a staysail on a 37 Tayana, works swell.
  • Thick tiny storm jib.
  • Kern cruising spinnaker in sock, fine condition.
  • New black sail covers.
Ground tackle:
  • 35 lb. CQR anchor, 200' chain.
  • 35 lb. Bruce with chain & nylon rode.
  • Danforth 20 lb. stern anchor with chain & nylon.
  • Manual Vetus windlass.
Extras:
  • Forced heating venting in place, Webasto removed for lack of working properly and out dated.
  • Price has been reduced $ 3 K, in consideration of sad looking Cetol and a soft spot on sampson post.
  • 7' Dinghy Company (basically a Fatty Knees) shore boat with nice oars that fits forward on
deck with lifting bridle, is available, but not part of the deal.
Location: Anacortes, Washington

Price: $42,000
