History:

Dream Weaver was built in Costa Mesa, CA. and finished at the factory. She's a documented vessel, #583 558 and her hull is #WSSF 0610 1276. Her first owner was the disc jockey that made Gary Wright's song so popular in Southern California, and after a brief ownership, she was bought and well cared for by a marine surveyor for 23 years in Marina Del Rey. In 2000 we moved aboard and took Dream Weaver on a fantastic voyage exploring Mexico and Central America. After transiting the Panama Canal we thoroughly enjoyed the San Blas Islands and Cartegena Colombia. As the saying goes, Dream Weaver was repaired and upgraded in exotic places all along the way.

During two months of my wife's pregnancy with our now 2-year-old daughter Stella, we gave Dream Weaver some new gel coat and new upholstery for the salon while living in beautiful Cartegena. With some wonderful friends, I sailed Dream Weaver back to the States via Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and put her on the hard on the Okeechobee waterway in Florida. We made the difficult decision that until Stella is a little older and we build the kitty back up, our sailing plans are on hold. Dream Weaver awaits her new owner and next adventure just north of the Florida border in St. Mary's GA., 30 minutes from Jacksonville.
