Flush deck pilothouse-style Westsail with spacious and beautiful teak and mahogany interior, roomy deck area and cockpit coamings which allow for a larger dodger and drier cockpit than most Westsails. With excellent sails, good electrical panel and wiring. She was completely refurbished before a one-season cruise to Mexico in 1999. Much new and upgraded equipment has been installed between 2004 and 2007.
Belle Fiore is a raised flush deck version using a Westsail 32 hull, and deck and cabin custom built with a small cabin aft, and a well on the foredeck. There is a cockpit well aft, with coamings, and a lazarette in the stern.
New Beta 38 hp diesel engine installed , 80 hours, all new water and fuel filters, new log and dripless stuffing box, new inverter/charger, electric head, holding tank, 100 amp alternator, deluxe gauges, AIS receiver and transmitter.
Accommodations:
The interior has a settee to port in the salon, with a pilot berth above it, and another settee to starboard, with a bookcase above. The galley is similar to the standard Westsail galley, with a sit-down navigation station to starboard. Going forward is the head compartment to port and a chest of drawers and hanging locker to starboard. A double berth is to port in the forward cabin, with storage under and also to starboard. A rope and chain locker is located at the forepeak. The engine is located aft under the cockpit floor, with the companionway ladder removable and doors for access into the engine room.
Deck & Hull:
- The deck and cabintop are covered with fiberglass, and painted with sand nonskid.
- Vessel's topside and hull were painted with Awlgrip's LP
